International Emmy® Award Success For Dustbin Baby

Compelling family drama Dustbin Baby based on award-winning writer Jacqueline Wilson’s best selling novel was an award winner at the 37th International Emmy® Awards held on Monday evening in New York.
The drama picked up the Award in the Children & Young People category.
Dustbin Baby stars Dakota Blue Richards (Golden Compass) in the lead role, starring alongside a top-name cast, including Juliet Stevenson (Bend It Like Beckham; Truly, Madly, Deeply) and David Haig (My Boy Jack; Four Weddings And A Funeral). Dakota plays 14 year old April, found abandoned as a baby in a rubbish bin. Desperate to find out who she really is after a lifetime spent in care, she runs away and looks for answers in the place it all started.
